It has never been a more difficult time to be a kid in America. Whether it's basic safety at their public schools or shocking and divisive culture permeating online, protecting our children and their innocence is a foundational challenge for today's world.

I have proudly supported billions in school safety grants to protect our students during school hours as well as legislation to prevent access to explicit or pornographic websites for minors online. I also proudly supported legislation to clean up the books and material offered to our schools through private vendors.

Our children are our future. We must do everything we can to protect them and allow them to simply be kids.
